CDCN is the Community Development Company of Nesting - a community group formed to preserve and develop the land and property at the Aald Skül, Vassa, South Nesting, to provide new amenities and opportunities for the local community. When the Shetland Islands Council made clear their intentions to sell off the old Nesting Primary School buildings and surrounding land, Nesting Aald Skül Development Association was formed to try and acquire the assets for the benefit of the local community.

The Unst and Yell Tunnels page has started up their online auction to raise funds for the seismic survey, included in the prizes is a £40 voucher for the Nesting Scrapstore!

It offers an array of enticing items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters of the campaign.

The auction will run until 9.00pm on Friday 12th December, allowing ample opportunity for supporters to participate, bid, and contribute to the project. Every bid counts and will make a significant impact to the fundraising effort.
