Shetland Young Promoters Group

Constituted group open to all young people aged 25 and under. The group is run by a committee of 14 to 25 year olds.

The group meets weekly, usually on a Saturday afternoon at Islesburgh Community Centre. SYPG are proudly supported by Shetland Arts Development Agency and Shetland Islands Council Youth Services.

'Returning after a substantial musical hiatus, the band that put the last nail in the Pierhead coffin return to tickle your lug holes with oodles of 90s and 00s rock, pop/punk and novelty tunes. This 4-piece hailing from Voe, Vidlin and Brae hope to not contribute to anymore venue shutdowns with their triumphant return.'

🌟 INTRODUCING... SEDSO 🌟

'Sedso is a new Shetland indie music project set up by Dom Bogle and Stefan Kellhofer with a focus on creating moody original songs with an emphasis on dynamics and rhythm.'

After playing at last year's event, they are back! (now with a name!) We are delighted to have Sedso performing at Groovy in September. 🎸🎶
