We are so excited to partner with Loop Venue in Shrewsbury, which is running a series of gigs to support local charities. Our charity gig is on Saturday 21 November.
The gigs are an opportunity for local bands to play at the Loop venue and give a local charity the chance to fundraise. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased on the door and online (link below), which opens at 3 pm, and the line-up includes Monsdale, Twisted Halo, Longden Calling, Red by Night, and The Average Dad Band.
Jamie Smith, Owner of Loop Venue, said, "I'm excited to host a series of gigs to support local charities; so far we've supported Shropshire Cats Rescue, We Are Champions, Little Stars and Hope House. The event on Saturday 21 November is to support Shropshire Mental Health Support; all the money raised through ticket sales and the raffle will support local people struggling with their mental health. The gig is also an opportunity to showcase local talent with a mix of established bands and up-and-coming acts."
Heather Ireland, CEO, said, “We are grateful to Jamie for offering us a slot in this series of fundraisers. Shropshire Mental Health Support has been in existence since 1974, and we have never run a fundraiser like this. There will be an opportunity to buy raffle tickets on the night, and we’ve had some generous prizes from local businesses. We cannot wait for Saturday 21 November.”
