Severn Hospice is part of health services offered to people living in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales but we are not part of the NHS. We are a completely independent charity, having to raise around two-thirds of our running costs.

It might not even be Halloween yet, but in four weeks our first Christmas Fayre will be in full swing! 🎄

Join us at our Apley hospice site on 28-29 November for a festive weekend packed with shopping, entertainment, tasty treats from Refresh at Severn Hospice and Christmas cheer.

Now is the perfect time to give your beautiful prom dress a second chance to shine!

We're looking for prom gowns ready to be loved again by girls attending their prom in 2027. If you have a dress tucked away in your wardrobe, you can donate it at any of our charity shops.

Every dress sold helps fund the compassionate care we provide, while also helping a young person create unforgettable memories on their special night.

Light a Star for Severn Hospice this Christmas and put your business at the heart of one of our most loved events ⭐

Each December, stars sponsored by local businesses shine brightly on the front of our Bicton hospice, celebrating the organisations that help us care for local families. More than sponsorship, it's a visible commitment to supporting families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales when they need us most.

Sponsors are also invited to the switch-on of our corporate Light a Star display, bringing together local businesses for an evening of networking and to celebrate their support of our Lights of Love campaign on 1 December

Wrekinsport are great supporters of ours and once again they have chosen us as their Charity of the Year.

This year they have held three different cycling events and all profits made from the ride outs were donated to us.

They popped into the hospice to pay the money and hear more about the work we do.

Thanks to every member of the group for their kindness - it's because you care that we can.

Tony did a really wheelie awesome thing when he took part in the World Wheelie Competition, which was held in York last month.

And he was wheelie pleased with his fundraising and popped in to talk about how happy he was with how the day went and was even more pleased with the amount raised for the hospice.

Ploughman's supper, organised by Llanfair Caereinion Support Group, was held at The Institute recently.

The evening was a huge success and local singer Ceri Pryce, who was born and brought up in the area provided the music. There was also a bar and a raffle which saw a total of £2,200 raised for our care.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended and gave so generously.

This is Isla, who made and sold bracelets to fundraise for us in memory of her great-grandmother who we had the privilege of caring for.

And the entrepreneurial 11-year-old made £101.50.

Her grandparents were incredibly proud of her and decided to double the amount she had raised, as Severn Hospice means so much to the whole family.

So earlier this month, she dropped by the hospice with a donation of £203! Thanks so much Isla for your generous donation - you are a star.

Harry, Fay, Rachael and Daniel all took on the .marathon.half.10k.tri and raised an amazing £4,365 for our care.

Thanks so much guys, for all of your hard work and dedication - not to mention your sore feet.

The foursome ran all three of the runs and are now proud owners of some very impressive bling!
