🕺Shrewsbury Can Dance - but Can we Disco?!

Following the runaway success of the 2018 record-breaking Charleston massed dance event in The Quarry, families are now invited to join together in a funky disco routine in The Quarry on May 18th, organised by Sarah Bright of I Can Dance Shrewsbury in aid of Shropshire Mental Health Support MHS Shropshire

The Harry Johnson Trust has received the final £100 that we had left over from the proceeds of the Stanton Gate Crasher 2K, 5K, and 10K fun runs. They would like to use the money to provide local families who have a child with cancer with a supermarket voucher before Christmas to help with the costs of Christmas Day. £100 would help two families .

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the organisers and participants of the Stanton Gatecrasher run, who raised £1000 to support local charities.

We are happy to announce that we have given £200 to Shropshire Epilepsy Support so they may use it to buy free anti-suffocation pillows for those who experience nocturnal convulsive seizures, and we shipped six brand-new winter sleeping bags to our friends at The Shrewsbury Ark.
We also made a donation of £200 to Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith to help cover the cost of specialised crisis nurses and £100 to Ada’s Foundation, which offers empathetic and practical support to families dealing with stillbirth. We have also supported Shrewsbury Food Hub with a donation of £200 to purchase branded T Shirts.
We have £100 left to support another local charity. Who shall we support? Comment below.

A huge "Thank-you" to the local charity Little Bags of Kindness who have very kindly donated £200 for us to spend on free Anti- suffocation pillows to those who suffer from nocturnal convulsive seizures. We massively appreciate your support.

Stanton Gate Crasher 10k done ✅ Thank you to the event organisers, volunteers and to all the lovely people who baked those delicious cakes!! Amazingly well organised as usual and an all round fantastic atmosphere.

We are so grateful to the organisers and everyone who took part in the last year raising over £2000 for . We then distributed this incredible fundraising back into the community through various different local charities.
We pride ourselves in providing the link between your donations and those that need it the most.
The charities we have chosen to support this year are The Shrewsbury ArkShrewsbury Food Hub Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith

A hugely warm and supportive event awaits you with a choice of 5K or 10K routes and a fun run for the children!

Thank you Stanton Stile Hop 2K, 5K & 10K fun run for choosing to support Little Bags of Kindness again this year.
With last years fundraising we were able to support a number of charities from purchasing over £250 worth of brand new school uniforms for YSS , buying hygiene and food packages for visitors of MHS Shropshire, ordering many inspirational books for children supported by Smash Life, sending a trolley load of baby & toddler products to Telford & Wrekin Baby & Toddler Bank, making a donation Shropshire Supports Refugees for Xmas gifts and buying perfume & other goodies to create individual gift bags for each one of the visitors staying at the Shropshire Womens domestic services over xmas.
With your help again this year, we want to do more of the same!

A slightly belated HAPPY NEW YEAR!! With your help this Christmas, we achieved our goal of providing presents for each one of our chosen charities plus many family referrals from various care workers. We would like to say a big thank you to for being a collection point, we really couldn't have done this without your support. We had approximately 130 boxes donated each box full to the brim with wonderful gifts. Today we collected more presents from The Abbey which were delivered after our delivery date. We are truly amazed at the support we have received this year as it has been so tough for many. This afternoon I will be busy taking to care workers finding homes for the toys and teddies we have received, ensuring they go to those that need it the most.
So again THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give 🥰
