It's that time of year again! Summer trip forms are coming home and this year it is first come first serve on all trips, but please don't panic as we will make sure everyone gets at least 1 trip!

Parents please return the second page of the form only, the first page is for you to keep so you have a copy of all the dates. When returning the forms please tick the trips your child would like to attend and enclose cash in an envelope.

Each trip is heavily subsidised and the cost is Β£10 per trip to include transport on a coach.

You don't have to wait until a youth club session to drop the form off, we do have a postbox at the front of the building.

Please note - These trips are for current youth club members only.

Thankyou

Well done to everyone who has finished their GCSE’s πŸŽ‰

Congratulations to all the students and families who have survived exam season, it's time to relax and enjoy the summer and we want you to have an amazing and safe time.

Things we don't want.....

We have been made aware of young people planning to attend Churchtown Farm this evening and at the weekend. Go and have fun! BUT, if you have rubbish, make sure you have a bag to put it in and leave it by the bins on your way home. We don't want to see the mess we have seen in previous years. Parents, if you are buying your children alcohol, consider letting them have it at home where you can take responsibility for their behaviour and welfare. Last year there were some very unwell children who had been given alcohol to take to Churchtown Farm by their parents. Perhaps lower alcohol drinks may be more suitable for children, who are more affected than adults, and make sure they have a bin bag for their rubbish.

Sadly, we have been advised some young people have been trying to source nitrous oxide. It is a class c drug and possession is illegal. It can also cause hypoxia, anxiety, confusion and even death. If we find anyone with nitrous oxide, we will deal with this robustly.

We will be patrolling Churchtown Farm to ensure everyone is safe and there is no anti-social behaviour, so please say hello. We don't want to ruin your fun so please be responsible and think of the wider community and how your behaviour affects others.

The youth work team want to make parents of our Juniors Club aware that there are a group of young people who are hanging around in Saltash at the moment causing trouble. We are aware of this and are working very closely with the school, Police and Livewire to tackle the anti social behavior.

Tonight during youth club we were told that some of them were around our site when we were outside. We can assure you that we are working very closely with the Police to move these young people on, who are not our members, so we can continue to keep our members safe and able to have an enjoyable evening.

We realise that the visit from the Police may have made some of our young people anxious, we want to reassure them that there was no direct threat to anyone tonight. Our job is to keep everyone safe whilst they are in our care and that is our priority.

We wanted to post this tonight to reassure both parents/carers and our young people.
Youth club is a place for you to have fun and meet your friends and feel safe and that will always be our priority.

Don’t let a few spoil it for the majority ☺️
