We put this event on to say a big THANKYOU to our funders, Saltash Town Council and Howton Solar Farm as without them we simply would not be able to do the work we do 🙏

Thank you to The Mayor and Deputy Mayor, Town Councillor and Committee members from Howton Solar Farm for coming along and enjoying a lovely afternoon with us 😊

There will be our usual holiday brunch for all groups this half term on WEDNESDAY from 10-12pm instead of our evening sessions.

Both our Grub Club groups were busy this week making some delicious mini cheese and onion pasties!

The youth work team want to make parents of our Juniors Club aware that there are a group of young people who are hanging around in Saltash at the moment causing trouble. We are aware of this and are working very closely with the school, Police and Livewire to tackle the anti social behavior.

Tonight during youth club we were told that some of them were around our site when we were outside. We can assure you that we are working very closely with the Police to move these young people on, who are not our members, so we can continue to keep our members safe and able to have an enjoyable evening.

We realise that the visit from the Police may have made some of our young people anxious, we want to reassure them that there was no direct threat to anyone tonight. Our job is to keep everyone safe whilst they are in our care and that is our priority.

We wanted to post this tonight to reassure both parents/carers and our young people.
Youth club is a place for you to have fun and meet your friends and feel safe and that will always be our priority.

Don’t let a few spoil it for the majority ☺️

Tomorrow is May Fair in Saltash! We love this event as it starts off with the parade of youth which is an incredible opportunity for all of our amazing young people to come together and parade through our town ☺️

The Core youth committee has a stall in the Youth Village in Victoria Gardens alongside lots of other youth organisations. Plus the sumo wrestling 🤼‍♀️ will be making a come back!

We will be in the youth parade so if any of our members want to come along and join in come and meet us in Victoria Gardens at 9.45am.

Just popped up to Waitrose to see how the green coins are looking and we are currently in the lead!!

Thank you so much to everyone who is supporting us by putting 1 or 2……or in some cases 62 coins in!!! Yes that is one of our members 😂

Amazing cup cakes being made this week at our new Home Ed Grub Club! 🧁

We have been able to start this new session as a direct result of the Saltash Town Council funding. The money is going directly to improving and increasing services for our young people. 😊

We’re excited to be teaming up with The Core and Saltash Baptist Church to create **3D printed poppies for Remembrance** 🌺

It’s a brilliant community project, and there’s more to come on that later in the year…

But here’s the thing — projects like this don’t happen on their own. We seek like minded individuals and those seeking some new challenges and friends.
