If your child would like to join any of our clubs or activities then please complete one of our Google forms and we will get back to you about availability.

For clubs such as 'Just be you', Craft Club and Senior Youth Club there is no need to book they can just come along, however we do still require a form to be completed so we have the relevant details and emergency contacts.

For all our other clubs please wait for an email informing you a space is available for your child to attend.

Calling all new Year 7's and those who are home educated of the same age!

We will be having a Year 7 only Junior Youth Club on Thursday September 3rd where you can come and have a look around and see what we have to offer.

Time - 6.30-8.30pm
Cost - £2
Info needed - If all parents could complete one of our Google forms ahead of their child attending then we will have all the info we need for them to become members. You only need to complete the form once and then only if your contact details change. This will guarantee your child a place at Junior Youth Club for as long as they want to keep on coming!

We look forward to welcoming you all and wish you all the very best for starting school next Tuesday (and for the parents!). 😊

☀️That is the end of our summer activities!

🎢We’ve been all over! Adrenaline Quarry, Crealey and Woodlands!

🥞We’ve eaten a huge amount of pancakes at our Food & Fun sessions (thank you Tracy!) been on the climbing wall 🧗and enjoyed slip & slide in the garden.

😴It is now time for the staff to have a well deserved break.

💪We will be back rested and raring to go to welcome our new members with a year 7 only youth club night on Thursday Sept 3rd

We enjoyed the second of our summer trips to Crealey yesterday! It was pretty hot ☀️

Tomorrow we are back at The Core for pancakes and slip & slide inflatable! This is going to be so much fun! ☺️
Make sure all young people bring a towel, something to get wet in and suncream ☀️

The tuck shop won’t be open tomorrow as we are in the middle of our cafe refurb but there will be plenty of free pancakes and squash.

We had a great time with Pip and Sarah making the boat….and it didn’t sink!

Well done Jade and Pip you were awesome 😎

The summer holidays are finally here!

We have done our first summer trip today to Adrenaline Quarry and everyone had a fab time!!

Here is our timetable for members for the next few weeks, please note that climbing club does not run during the summer.

Wednesday 29th July
Food and Fun session. 10-12.30pm. £2 entry which includes free pancakes! All members welcome.

Monday 3rd Aug
Crealey Trip. Arrive at 9.15am and we will be back by 5pm.

4th, 5th & 6th Aug
All young people on the 'Volunteer it Yourself' project are needed from 10-3pm each day and will need to bring a packed lunch.

5th Aug
Food and Fun session. 10-12.30pm. £2 entry which includes free pancakes! For this session will have a slip and slide inflatable in the garden so bring your swimming stuff and a towel!

Monday 10th Aug
Woodlands Trip. Arrive at 9.15am and return by 5pm.

Wednesday 12th Aug
Food and Fun session. 10-12.30pm. £2 entry which includes free pancakes! For this session we will be opening the climbing wall so please ensure you bring appropriate clothing and footwear if you want to go up the wall.

Wednesday 12th Aug
Youth Committee members only session from 12.30-4pm

After all this the staff will need a break! We will then be back in September all refreshed and ready to start the new term

Tomorrow is the start of our summer activities! ☀️

Our first trip is to Adrenaline Quarry aquapark which is going to be fab!

For those booked onto this trip here is what you need to know:

Meet at The Core - 9.15

Bring - Swimming stuff & towel plus a packet lunch, drink and sun cream.

Return to The Core - 1.30pm

Please remember they don’t allow jewelry or any piercings in the water so best to leave these at home.

🏀 We're Hiring – Sports Youth Worker ⚽

The Core is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Youth Worker to join our team on Thursday evenings (6:15pm–8:45pm). The role would start in September ready for the new school term.

You'll be leading fun, inclusive sports and games for our busy Year 7 & 8 Junior Youth Club, helping young people stay active, build confidence, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience working with young people aged 11–18
- Has experience of delivering sports, games, and team activities
- Can motivate and engage young people of all abilities
- Is passionate about making a positive difference and working alongside young people
