Saltash… are you ready to cheer on the bravest, soggiest, most brilliantly bonkers boats on the Tamar?

On Sunday 26th July at 14:00, our legendary Cardboard Boat Race splashes back onto the waterfront and trust us, you don’t want to miss this one.

This year’s Regatta Parade is back, brighter, bolder and bursting with OUR COMMUNITY spirit. WE WANT YOU, YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR CLUBS, YOUR FAMILIES, and your wildest RIVER themed costumes to join the fun.

SATURDAY 25TH JULY

💧 Theme: The River Tamar anything on it or in it!
Think boats, fish 🐡, ferries ⛴️, seals 🦭, sea shanties, river wildlife 🦦, mythical creatures🧜🧜‍♀️… the more imaginative, the better.

Civic Parade assembly to lead us on.

Hi to our lovely community. We are looking for a bit of help please, 3 x 2 hour shifts on Saturday 25th July from 10 am until 4pm. The task is to sit outside Ashtorre on a bench and ensure the visitors do not overwhelm the venue. Many people have said to me overtime they would love to help. Please if you could volunteer a little help it will save us having extra costs for security. Either comment here or pm me or Regatta.

We are excited to let you know that there will be a fund raising quiz in aid of this years regatta on the 19th June at Ashtorre Rock. Please book online using the Eventbrite link to reserve your teams space.

We are thrilled that Rachel Bullock has agreed to write and deliver the quiz for us, we are sure many of you have enjoyed her quizzes over the last year.

Bring your own nibbles and drinks, as well as cash for the entry and raffle ticket or two!

Fancy dress is optional, but there will be a prize for the best dressed quizzer.
