🌻🌱📖Some of our library team members have been out visiting the local care homes in Saltash. These visits bring books to the care homes, show some of the staff how residents can access online resources like BorrowBox and PressReader and help to promote wellbeing. The Saltash Library Hub is more than just a library, it is a friendly face, advice on where to go for help, connection, and support for wellbeing (and of course books!). On this visit, the residents planted some sunflowers and painted their pots, we can't wait to see how the flowers grow and bring some sunshine to the residents' homes. Thank you to Anchor - St Anne's for having us and thank you to for your kind donations. We look forward to more community events and activities to promote wellbeing. 🌻🌞

Tom Palmer Book Tour: Location Update 📖

Please be advised that the visit from children’s author, Tom Palmer, on Monday 1 June 2026 that was originally planned to be held at Saltash Town Council Library Hub, will now be held at a local primary school and will not be open to members of the public.

This change is due to the limited capacity of the temporary Saltash Library space, which is unable to accommodate this event. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you would like to attend at another location, Tom Palmer will be visiting nearby libraries on the same day (1 June) at the following times:

📍 Liskeard Library – 11.30am
📍 Torpoint Library – 2.30pm

During these sessions, Tom will meet young readers and introduce his brand-new book, If the Invader Comes. This event is ideal for children aged 7+ who enjoy history, mystery, and page-turning stories.

Hello!! we have found a lonely lovely pair of Glasses here in our Mini Temporary Library yesterday. If these are yours we have them safely here at the Temporary Library at the Wesley Church, we are open until 1pm today and back open again on Monday at 9.30am Thanks 😀

Looking for a free activity for your little one during the half term? Our pop up Story Time session at the Family Hub is free to attend and suitable for 0-5 years. No need to book, just come along to Saltash Family Hub.

Our pop-up Story Time session at Saltash Family Hub will be on the last Friday of the month- Friday 29th May at 13:45. Come along to listen to stories, play and socialise. Suitable for 0-5 years and free to attend. See you there 📚😃

Saltash Town Council recently invited residents to take part in a feedback survey, encouraging the community to share their thoughts on the Saltash Town Council Library Hub and ideas for future events, services and facilities.
