❤️God’s covenant is not like a contract, but a relationship in which He promises, “I will be your God, and you will be my people.”

💟Being God’s children means three main things: a continuing and deeper relationship with God through the Spirit, empowerment to serve Him through prayer and His work, and a calling to love and obey God by loving one another.

✝️Christians are no longer abandoned or fearful, but adopted into God’s family, living in His love, security, and purpose.🙌🏻

From Genesis to Revelation, God relates to people through covenant. Again and again, he says, “I will be your God, and you shall be my people.”
This is where we begin today. Covenant is God tying himself to his promises and calling his people to be bound to him in faith.

Bible Verse of the Week 💕
“1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. 2 The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands. 3 Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.”
— Genesis 9:1-3 (NIVUK)

May our fellowship show the reality of the risen Christ to one another and to the world. May our homes bear witness to His peace,
May our work reflect His lordship,
May our prayers reveal our dependence,
May our words carry His grace.
May the Holy Spirit, poured out at Pentecost, make us into the kind of church where Jesus is not only preached but seen.

Amen.

“18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.
20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
21 Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.”

Our New life in Christ – Walking in Holiness and Obedience

🌟Let’s set our hearts and minds on things above.

☝🏻Put to death our sins – greed, anger, rage, malice, slander, filthy language, lying, lust and judgmentalism.

😊Put on our new clothes – holiness, love, compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forbearance and forgiveness.

💗Here there is no Brit, Hong Konger, Iranian, or any other nationality of any colour, background, rich or poor but CHRIST IS ALL AND IN ALL.

🕊️Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts – let peace RULE and REIGN, not worry, fear or anxiety.

✝️Let the word of God DWELL in us richly – Let it live deeply inside us.

💖And be THANKFUL – sing with joy to one another as we encourage each other on this journey of holiness.

Paul calls us to be vigilant, to guard our freedom, so that no one takes it away. Here’s how we can respond:

- Stay Rooted in Christ: Make Him the centre of your faith,
- Discern Teaching: Ask, “Does this draw me closer to Jesus, or does it distract?”
- Value Relationship Over Ritual: God wants your heart, not a checklist.
- Celebrate Freedom: Remember what you’re free from, shame, death, and debt.

So, live confidently in the fullness Christ offers. Amen
