Reading Pride Award winning charity run by volunteers promoting equality in relation to LGBT+ people in Reading & across the Thames Valley.

The first Reading Pride took place on 4th September 2004 and has grown from strength to strength. 2007 saw the introduction of a Parade (originally arranged by the Wynford Arms) through Reading's busy main shopping streets which by enforcing a visible presence has assisted the charity's objectives. Mirroring the success of other large pride festivals across the country, Reading Pride has seen its' attendance reach over 10,000 people across the day in Kings Meadow which has now become a firm fixture in the Reading calendar.

While we’re celebrating all the incredible moments from Reading Pride, we also want to shine a light on just some of the people who helped make it all happen (and don’t worry there are more photos to come👀💫)🌈

Here are just some of our amazing volunteers, trustees and committee members worked throughout the day to keep everything moving and make Pride possible. From behind the scenes to right in the heart of the celebrations — this day wouldn’t happen without these guys!🏳️‍🌈✨

Thank you for everything you do for our community 🏳️‍🌈
