Reading Pride

Reading Pride Award winning charity run by volunteers promoting equality in relation to LGBT+ people in Reading & across the Thames Valley.

The first Reading Pride took place on 4th September 2004 and has grown from strength to strength. 2007 saw the introduction of a Parade (originally arranged by the Wynford Arms) through Reading's busy main shopping streets which by enforcing a visible presence has assisted the charity's objectives. Mirroring the success of other large pride festivals across the country, Reading Pride has seen its'

attendance reach over 10,000 people across the day in Kings Meadow which has now become a firm fixture in the Reading calendar.

Marketplace Bookings Open ✅

Reading Pride has grown to one of the largest Pride events in the region attracting over 15,000 people over the course of the day at Kings Meadow, Reading. It’s a great opportunity to bring together businesses, charities, community groups and organisations and we do that within our Marketplace and Food and Drink courts.

Our marketplace is a busy, central part of the site providing 3m x 3m pitches (or larger if you would like), with the ability to hire tables, chairs and gazebos. Registered charities and community organisations get a reduced rate, allowing us to support community causes through Reading Pride.

All info and applications can be found over on our website! 🏳️‍🌈
