The Berkshire Open Views project recently concluded its 8-week cycle of creative digital workshops, with the results having been nothing short of transformative 💭🎥

In partnership with Maidenhead Community Centre and funded by the Barchester Charitable Foundation, this series brought together long-time members of the Open Mind filmmaking group and the public to explore the intersection of mental health and the environment.

Thank you to all who contributed to and participated in the project, what an incredible 8 weeks!

Funded by Barchester’s Charitable Foundation, we’re hosting Berkshire Open Views Mental Health Project at Maidenhead Community Centre every Tuesday throughout July.

This project delivers a series of workshops using digital media, photography, video, sound and creative storytelling to explore how the environment impacts on mental health. Offering friendly learning opportunities, the project encourages participation in creative activities, such as building supportive networks with the aim to change perceptions of mental illness within the community.

Here’s a preview of today’s session - join us next Tuesday 14th July from 2pm for our next workshop.
