PACT helps hundreds of families every year through outstanding adoption services, award-winning therapeutic support and inspirational community projects across London and the south. PACT is one of the UK’s leading independent adoption agencies placing children with secure and loving families and supporti

ng them with specialist therapeutic support. Our award-winning FACTS service includes counselling, Theraplay, creative art therapy and life story work which help children to overcome difficulties in childhood, adolescence and early adulthood which have resulted from early childhood trauma and neglect. PACT also runs community projects supporting vulnerable children and adults facing a range of issues including domestic abuse, homelessness and debt.

It was fantastic to be at The Fertility Show last weekend to speak about our work and adoption as a path to parenthood!

We would be delighted for you to join us on Saturday 4th July for a special summer garden party in the beautiful grounds of 🌻

As well as having the opportunity to explore Cheam’s formal gardens, the party will be an afternoon of cakes, refreshments and entertainment! There will be fun games for children, live music from , and the chance to enter PACT’s summer raffle.

We’re celebrating our wonderful supporter of the month for May, Amelia, who joined us in April 2025 as a Custody and Court Volunteer!

Amelia was a second-year law student at the University of Reading when she first enquired about a role with PACT and it was clear from the outset that her sensitivity and empathy helped her quickly build trusting relationships with women experiencing very difficult circumstances.

Maisie, from the Alana House team, said, “Amelia has been an incredible support to Alana House and the women we work with. From her first day, she has been proactive, confident, helpful, and most importantly, passionate about supporting women. Even after her placement ended, Amelia continued to support Alana House while balancing university and travelling home, something we really appreciate. Her dedication has been invaluable, and we are very sorry to see her go. Thank you so much, Amelia!”

“We need to stop fishing people out of the river and find out why they are falling in in the first place”

An incredible evening last night at our screening of Holloway. A room full of people who were not only passionate but determined to make lives better for women who come into contact with the criminal justice system and ideally preventing them from getting involved in it at all.

Huge thanks to our brilliant panel: Natausha Van Vliet, Kathryn Warner, Catherine Parfitt, Mairead O’Hanlon and to the University of Reading.

Huge thank you to the team at Fennies Nurseries for their incredible fundraising efforts in March.

Their support office teams came together for a month-long challenge, starting with just £20 each and turning it into creative fundraising activities, from quizzes and bake sales to car boot sales and eating challenges. Together, they raised £668, which Fennies generously matched, bringing their total donation to an amazing £1,336.

As Cara, Marketing Executive at Fennies, shared:
“Seeing everyone get involved and support PACT so wholeheartedly has been inspiring. It’s amazing to know that our efforts will help make a real difference in the lives of children and families.”

We’re so grateful for their creativity, teamwork, and commitment to supporting children and families.
