Morning, can anyone help my charity The Way Ministry, Reading please? The Way Ministry Reading is a local charity founded by myself and my husband in December 2012. We saw the need in our community and just wanted to help people.

We offer free food and other living essentials to people experiencing homelesness, poverty and financial hardship in Reading. If you can help or know anyone who can, please get in touch. Thanks in advance.

📢 We Need Help!

Reading Charity is preparing our first set of accounts, and we’re looking for someone to undertake this work for us.

If you have experience with charity accounting or bookkeeping and could help us complete and submit our first accounts properly, we’d love to hear from you!

To all in need and willing to receive help 🙏

While club members are busy helping Santa this weekend at Winnersh Garden Centre and Hare Hatch Sheeplands Garden Centre they’re also planning help for our community after Christmas.

Starting in mid January our members will be delivering 2,300 microwave meals to food share groups around the local area. New Beginnings, Whitley Community Hub, Wycliffe Foodshare and the SHARE Organisations in Shinfield, Finchampstead, Winnersh, Wokingham and Woodley will all benefit. The meals are being prepared in the kitchens at Leighton Park school by the Feeding Communities project. Feeding Communities provides essential food provisions and fresh healthy meals to support food banks.

Additionally we’ll be donating extra food and cash for Christmas to Woodley Food Bank, Woodley Lunch Bunch, CIRDIC (Churches in Reading Drop In Centre), Whitley Hub, Wycliffe Baptist Foodshare and the Reading Salvation Army. Most of these have also been given regular donations over the last few years.

We’re pleased to be supporting all these fantastic local organisations.
