Yesterday, members of the Berkshire Community Foundation team along with Jane from Thames Hospice, headed to Slough to visit our elephant in the Trunks Across the Thames trail. It was fantastic to see it in its new home.

We are incredibly proud to be part of this wonderful community initiative supporting Thames Hospice, and seeing our elephant up close made us appreciate even more the creativity and care that has gone into the trail.

If you are exploring the trail this summer, make sure you keep an eye out for our elephant and snap a photo when you find it! 📸🐘

We are thrilled to introduce our two incredible interns who are helping us to make a difference!

📣 Kevin is researching key needs across the county to further support our community, helping to deliver deeper, longer-lasting impact.

📣 Vrinda is supporting marketing and comms, refreshing brand materials and assembling case studies that spotlight BCF’s work across the county and the fantastic charities we support.

We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication. Thank you, Kevin and Vrinda, for your invaluable contributions! 💙

🏏 What an extraordinary day!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week at the Royal Household Cricket Club Festival.

Together, we enjoyed a fantastic day of cricket, hospitality, and community spirit in a truly unique setting.

A special thank you to the Royal Household Cricket Club, our sponsors, supporters, volunteers and guests for helping us raise vital funds for Berkshire.

Your generosity will support Berkshire Community Foundation’s work, enabling us to continue investing in local charities and community organisations that are making a lasting difference in Berkshire.

🎨🐘We are incredibly grateful to Millery for creating the wonderful design for Berkshire Community Foundation's elephant in the Trunks Across the Thames trail.

The artwork beautifully captures our mission of connecting people who care with causes that matter, helping to strengthen communities across Berkshire. We couldn't be happier with the result and are proud to see it become part of this fantastic public art trail.

Thank you Millery, for your creativity, passion and for bringing our story to life in such a unique and inspiring way.

If you are exploring the trail in Slough, keep an eye out for our elephant and let us know when you spot it! 🐘

Small charities are at the heart of our communities.♥️

They see what’s needed, respond quickly, and create support that truly fits local people and places and right now, their role has never been more important.

With rising demand and growing pressure, small charities continue to show up every day, bringing connection, opportunity and hope where it’s needed most.

Thank you for everything you do. We are proud to stand with you this .
