🐉🚣‍♀️ We need your help!

We’re looking for more people to join Team Footprints for our Dragon Boat Day and Summer Gathering on Sunday 19 July at Canbury Gardens, Kingston-upon-Thames.

At the moment, we don’t have enough people to fill the boat, so if you’ve been thinking about taking part, now is the perfect time to sign up. No previous experience is needed!

If paddling isn’t for you, we’d still love for you to join us as a spectator and be part of the day.

We are also planning a special flower release into the River Thames to remember all of our Footprints twins and triplets. Families are warmly invited to take part in this moment of remembrance and reflection.

If you are unable to attend but would like to support our fundraising efforts, any donation would be greatly appreciated and will help us continue supporting bereaved twin and triplet families.

We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a meaningful and memorable day.

A few weeks ago, we joined more than 100 charities, organisations, campaigners and bereaved families in writing to Rt Hon James Murray MP about maternity and neonatal safety.

The letter calls for urgent action, accountability and continued national leadership to prevent avoidable harm and improve bereavement care for families.

Several weeks on, we are still awaiting a response.

We will continue to support calls for action and for the voices of bereaved families and those with lived experience to remain at the heart of improvements to maternity and neonatal care.

Suzie attended today’s APPG on Maternity at The Houses of Parliament which focused on Birth Conversions. There were some excellent presentations from the RCM, NCT and Garden of Peace, plus some very harrowing accounts of both birth trauma and baby loss from some of the families who’s cases are part of the Nottingham review.

Chaired by MP Michelle Welsh there was much discussion around the continued need for collaborative work and action to be taken to ensure the voices represented in this forum continue to be heard despite the recent resignation of Wes Streeting. Suzie informed the meeting about the letter written to new Secretary of State, the RT Hon James Murray, requesting that work done by the National Maternity and Neonatal Review is protected and continued in full. This must remain a national priority with the task force coming into action now. The letter has more than 100 signatories from different charities, organisations, healthcare professionals and families.

What a lovely afternoon at the Middleton Cheney Fete! 🎂🧁

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, bought cakes, stopped by for a chat, or supported us in any way.

We are delighted to share that we raised an amazing £408 for Footprints Baby Loss Twin & Multiple Birth Support - and we pretty much sold out of cake too!

Every pound raised will help us continue supporting families after the loss of a twin, triplet or more. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

If you would still like to support our Baking for Baby Loss campaign, you can buy a virtual cake or make a donation here:
