At last night’s Village Hall AGM, after 18 years, John Morris stepped down as Village Hall Trustee and Treasurer.
Although we think it might be even longer than that, as John took over from Joyce Giddins!

In other words, to put it mildly, John has put in quite a shift to keep the Village Hall running for the benefit of the Community.
Our much-loved Pre-school, Scouts, many (many!) Parties, Evergreens, W.I. , Christmas tree event, Conkers, music venue…the list goes on.

We presented John with a John Elson caricature depicting some of all that and with a wry smile as he ‘escapes’ after literally thousands of volunteer hours.

Thankyou John and the service that you have made for the Community.
