🇬🇧 Today, we mark 80 years since D-Day!

The D-Day landings of 6 June 1944 was the largest seaborne invasion in history. Along with the associated airborne operations, it marked the beginning of the liberation of France and western Europe.

April Fools! 🤣

This month, we’re starting work to repaint our Telephone Kiosk with a fresh coat of Bright Yellow paint, which will help it stand out and remind people that the defibrillator is inside! We also plan to add some black stripes and antennas to make it resemble a bumble bee, the new design will also be accompanied with new wildflower planting on the surrounding verges to make the area better for wildlife and pollinators.

Our snowdrops, which the team at Upton Community Council planted last year in the churchyard, are beginning to pop up!
