Providing support services to 5-25 year olds in the Thames Valley who have been harmed by crime. SAFE!

Support for Young People Affected by Crime (“SAFE!”) supports young people aged between 5 and 25 in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire who have been victims of crime and bullying and who are finding it hard to recover from their experiences. The crimes experienced by young people referred to the project can include bullying, robbery, hate crimes, sexual assaults, violent offences, or witnessing domestic violence. These young people report feeling unsafe in their key environments (their home, school, town and/or neighbourhood) and some have become virtual prisoners in their homes. works with them to help them to feel safe again, recover their confidence and develop their resilience.

Throwback to our most recent Staff and Trustee Away Day! A day of reflection, togetherness, and, most importantly, ice cream!

These days are a great opportunity for our staff to get together and talk about the work that we do and have a good chat with those that we don't get to see as often due to being spread out all over the Thames Valley.

Thank you to our amazing staff for the important work that you do, whether it's work with young people or behind-the-scenes administration, all of it matters and makes a huge difference to the lives of our service users 💙

Domestic abuse is a real concern for young people, they're are at a higher risk of being affected than someone over the age of 25. We think this is unacceptable. Our work helps to instigate real change in the way young people see relationships and judge what is and isn't healthy or fair.
