Last night’s 4-2 loss to makes it 3 losses from 3 in May - consistency is key! It truly was a great game though with a good bunch of lads.

In true Chillacticos fashion, we went 4-0 down. There are a lot of things we can blame that on. Us being in awe of the state of the art changing room. The fact that there was a wake being held by the side of the pitch. The constant blaring of the Oasis tribute band which made communication impossible.

We pulled 2 back though, Jennings with yet another goal and Shiels with a debatable goal/own goal.

There were a lot of firsts yesterday. This included:
- first assist
- first game against another team in a bright pink kit
- first time we have unleashed in the 10
- first ever streaker, who had a hell of a right foot on her

We also had an iconic miss-hit cross in true Paternoster fashion.

MOTM goes to the imperious Joe Green who is officially the best Joe on the team, covered every blade of grass and was a constant positive presence - he even covered ran the line with a smile on his face.

Best wishes go to Adam, who is our second fractured ankle in 2 matches - who’ll be next?!

This was our last game fundraising for - stay tuned for more on that.

Thanks again for a cracking game - until the next one!

Following last night’s defeat to (more to follow on what was a cracking game), we’re disappointed to announce that Julian Alvarez’s much anticipated move to the Chillacticos has fallen through :(

Atletico Madrid had kindly accepted our offer of a round of drinks at The Crown, 2 free Wednesday night 7s games for the whole squad, and the chance to get a photo with our CEO.

We wish Julian all the best with wherever Fabrizio Romano says he is going to go.

Today’s XI for our much anticipated game against .

With 2 of our 3 wingers being quick, the two Joe’s being on the pitch at the same time, and us having the ginger Beckenbaur starting again, we might be in with a chance.

Either way, let’s do a better job than Everton did against Spurs last week (the admin isn’t bitter I promise).

Looking forward to it! 8pm KO at Ilkeston Town FC!

After a couple of weeks off, the Chillacticos are back this Friday with a game against . Kick off will be around 8pm at Ilkeston Town Football Club.

Concerningly, our entire team have likely put on weight following the bank holiday weekend, it appears Shrimps won 8-0 in their most recent match, and the admin is depressed being a West Ham fan. So it’s looking promising!

That said, it’s sure to be a cracking game - we can’t wait!

And, of course, all funds raised will@be going to

So as a mental health charity first and foremost, we believe that it is important to be able to have a laugh at one’s expense. Or, at least, the admin does.

Now it’s true that last Friday’s comeback was a phenomenal performance, and you can see all of Denym’s class goals on last week’s post.

However, it’s important to reflect on areas to improve, and as the admin will tell you after his 3/10 performance last week, there can be many of them.

So sit back and relax at our first bloopers of the week - all in good fun!

Also get well soon Trav, taken too early by a fractured ankle ❤️

What a game!

3-0 down to draw 3-3 was an incredible result for the lads against our friends at

Obviously, massive praise goes to our hattrick hero Denym, who has truly put me in my place for making his squad picture a denim jacket a couple of weeks ago. Watch his unreal goals when you swipe.

The Stapleford Cafu continued his Antonio Valencia character arc with another superb performance.

There was no coin toss, so goes yet another game without losing one.

and promised a hattrick each. Trav went off after 2 minutes with an injury, whilst Joe delivered one of the worst crosses you’re ever likely to see.

Other shout outs go to JJ for being bounced across the floor by their midfielder, producing a wonder save to give away a penalty, and Josh tentatively entering his Roberto Carlos era.

Our MOTM was who was a monster as per, whilst the opposition quite understandably gave their MOTM to Denym.

Cheers for a great game , onto the next one!

All funds raised going to , of course!

Today’s line up against ! We welcome Hume, Cobble and Holland back. Who knows how that RW is starting ahead of last week’s main attacking threat! Time for some super subs.

See you at 8:15pm at Basford FC!

We’re back at it this Friday as we take on our good friends in a friendly at Basford FC.

Yes, that is 3 games in 3 weeks for the Chillacticos. Practically unheard of and there is every chance that some of us don’t survive the 90.

Anyway, it‘s gonna be a blast and we can’t wait to see you down there, as we raise money for a great cause in

A loss that felt like a win as we fell 5-7 to .ham.forest in a thrilling game.

Why? Because last time we played these lads we were decimated 12-3, so we’ve come a hell of a long way.

A second consecutive MOTM for as he swept up everything in sight.

Jennings with two more goals, one an electric counter with a cracking assist from Nolan.

Joe Green, on his debut, tripling the amount of goals scored by a Joe for the Chillacticos in less than 30 minutes (our other Joe has played 20 games).

Other crucial factors included winning the coin toss for the 3rd consecutive game, fully embracing the Ashley Young/Antonio Valencia career arc, and Mason launching the ball 40 yards in the most nonchalant manner.

All of course for a great cause in .

More to follow, but well done to the boys and cheers .ham.forest for a great game!
