For many learners, the cost of travelling abroad can make international opportunities feel out of reach.

With support from the Skills and Education Group Foundation, Leicester College provided learners with the practical resources they needed to take part in overseas work placements in Thailand and Bali, helping them gain valuable industry experience while building confidence and aspirations for the future.

Applications for our Learner Experience Fund and Learning Environment Improvement Fund are now closed.

We're delighted by the incredible response from members and the range of ideas submitted to enhance learning experiences and environments across the sector.

Our Foundation team will now begin reviewing applications, with all applicants receiving an outcome during the week commencing 2 November 2026.

We look forward to supporting successful projects and reopening both funds in January and April 2027.
