The wharf has been our home for the last half a century. We’re super grateful that we continue to operate from the premises due to a generous agreement with the Canalhouse bar. So a big thank you to Nottinghams very own Castle Rock Brewery and all of their wonderful staff 🙌🏽

Our volunteers, trustees and staff have worked tremendously hard this year, as we completed a bumper season of trips. We've welcomed some new volunteers and we're excited to be bringing new energy into the charity in the coming year. Merry Christmas to all of our team!

As part of our Christmas celebrations this year the team paid tribute to Debra Porter who was an instrumental figure in the history of the project. Her family joined us to unveil the commemorative plaque which can be found at our base at the Canalhouse Pub. Debra was a force of nature and touched many lives with her unique flair and personality and her legacy is a constant reminder of the charities past and future hopes and direction. Thank you to all who made this a moving and fitting tribute to someone who is dearly remembered and missed.
