Are you passionate about sport, physical activity and making a genuine difference in your community? Do you love inspiring people, building confidence and helping others reach their potential?
Notts County Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and community-minded Community Sports Coach to join our team and help us change lives through the power of sport.
As the charitable arm of Notts County FC, we have been using the power of football and physical activity for over 30 years to improve the health and wellbeing of our local communities. From schools and community projects to disability sport, holiday clubs and youth engagement, our work creates opportunities, builds connections and helps people thrive.
Now, we want you to be part of that journey!

A Full-time role (37.5 hours a week)

As a Community Sports Coach, you’ll deliver exciting, engaging and inclusive sport and physical activity sessions across a variety of Foundation programmes.
You’ll work with children, young people and adults from diverse backgrounds, creating positive experiences that develop confidence, skills, wellbeing and a lifelong love of being active.

Your work will span a range of projects, including:
⚽️Premier League Primary Stars, EFL Joy of Moving and PL Kicks.
🌈Disability and SEND sessions, and holiday clubs.
Health Initiatives inc. Cancer rehabilitation & Mental projects
📚Education programmes
🖤🤍Community events, tournaments, competitions and matchday activities.
No two days will be the same. You’ll have the opportunity to take your coaching into schools, community venues and local neighbourhoods, working alongside colleagues and partners to reach those who can benefit most.

In Nottinghamshire, over 1 in 1,000 people lose their lives to cardiovascular disease before their 75th birthday. We want to help change that.

Notts County Foundation run a dedicated Heart Health programme designed to help you strengthen your heart, stay active, and improve your overall wellbeing in a safe, supportive, and friendly environment. 🏃‍♀️

Help support one of our own!🖤

Our very own Health Manager and lifelong Notts supporter, Alex, will be taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon and Chester Full Marathon this autumn. 🏃‍♂️

As Alex tackles every mile, he’ll be raising funds for three charities that are particularly close to him and his family — the Foundation’s CARE programme, PACT Sheffield and The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association.
