This weekend, two brethren of the Notts Chapter of the Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association our very own W.bro Philippe Stevenson and Bro. Sean Bown from Walesby Forest Lodge proudly attended the Branding Ceremony at Duncarron Medieval Fortress in Scotland along with nearly 300 other brethren from around the world supported by passed brandee W.bro David Taylor

Hosted and run by Widows Sons Scotland and set against the backdrop of this incredible historic site, the event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate tradition, strengthen brotherhood, and support those taking this important step within the Widows Sons.

A brilliant weekend filled with camaraderie, shared values, and unforgettable memories.

Francesca, the daughter of Julian Townsend (Provincial Grand Master of Nottinghamshire Freemasons), ran the Sherwood Pines Half Marathon on the 15 March 2026 in support of the the Province's 2029 MCF Festival, and raised over £2,200!

A few of the brethren from the Lodge of Charity had a wonderful evening at the Amalgamation of Castle Lodge 3219 with Hayman Lodge 3414 held last night at Welbeck Road. Over the left of my shoulder (under the banners), you will see our RW Pro Grand Master Julian Townsend and now the Castle Hayman Lodge 3219 current WM, W.Bro Mick Smith. Both did an excellent and outstanding job making the evening very enjoyable.
