That’s why we’re taking part in Champions for Children 💙 A match-funded campaign to unlock musical potential, and show young people we believe in them. We're aiming to raise £10,000 by 16th June!

Huge congratulations to all our amazing young musicians! 🌟 Half-term fun and even a heat wave couldn’t slow you down. The dedication and achievements shown inspires us all!

The biggest thank you to our ambassador for hosting a fabulous masterclass for Future Talent brass players - and during a heat wave at that!

Our players worked through sections of their pieces with Matilda, getting detailed individual advice on how to enhance some already amazing playing. Then, the trumpet players got to join Matilda for some ensemble practice, with each player rotating who played in which position.

It was a great day all round and well done to our hard working brass players, and thank you Matilda! 🎺✨

What if every young person felt like music was for them? 🎶

For over 20 years, we’ve seen what happens when potential is believed in and supported. Confidence grows, doors open, futures change.

Now it’s time to turn that belief into action 💛
From 2–16 June, every donation is doubled as we aim to raise £10,000 through the Champions for Children campaign.

Because access to music should be for everyone!

We had a wonderful time in Cardiff over the weekend with professional musicians providing one-to-one mentoring sessions for our young musicians!

Mentoring provides a dedicated time for the musicians we support to work on whatever aspect they like with someone who's been there - from musicianship, a particularly tricky part of their piece, working towards a grade or careers advice!

Well done to all our young musicians who took part and thank you to our mentors!

Future Talent young guitarists, keyboard players, bass players and drummers went behind the scenes of SIX the Musical recently to learn what life is really like as a musician in musical theatre - meeting members of the incredible onstage band, the Ladies in Waiting, and members of the sound and tech team.

Musical Director Beth Jerram broke down click tracks, timing, sound effects and shared brilliant advice on the path to becoming a musical director. Thank you so much to the team at SIX for making this happen!
