Last week, took a group of students from The Royal School, Wolverhampton to the National Space Centre in Leicester to experience what space travel is all about 🚀

The day began with an exciting rocket-building challenge, as students worked against the clock to select materials, design their rockets, and launch them towards the moon, showcasing impressive creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. They then took part in a simulated journey to Mars, collaborating in small teams to gather vital data while demonstrating strong critical thinking throughout. The experience concluded with an inspiring insight into life as an astronaut, highlighting the skills, resilience, and dedication needed for such an extraordinary career.

It was a fantastic day of hands-on learning, teamwork, and inspiration, opening minds to the endless possibilities of space travel and future careers.

We were delighted to support the first Skysmart STEM and Aviation Day, where around 70 Scouts and Scout Leaders took part in a full day of hands-on activities, industry insight, and even the chance to take to the skies ✈️

From collaborative STEM challenges to real conversations with aviation professionals, it was fantastic to see so many young people engaged, curious, and excited about their future opportunities.

A huge thank you to the Skysmart MRO Ltd team for organising this event, and everyone who made the day such a success 👏

Dom was already committed to a future in aviation, but 's Drone Scholarship gave him the clarity, skills and industry insight to take that ambition further.

Through hands-on training with Eagle Eye Innovations Ltd (EEI) and exposure to the rapidly growing RPAS sector, Dom expanded his perspective beyond traditional pathways and sharpened his career direction.

Now a qualified pilot and awarded EEI's Drone Scholar of the Year 2025, he’s actively building his path into the aviation industry, proving how inspiring and transformative the right opportunity can be.

Earlier this week, we partnered with British Airways Speedbird Pilot Academy Recruitment team to deliver an unforgettable day for aspiring pilots, packed with real-world insights, practical skills, and honest career advice.

From learning about the key competencies needed on the flight deck, to hearing first-hand experiences from BA pilots and cadets, the room was full of energy, ambition and inspiration. It was incredible to see so many future aviators fully engaged, building confidence, discovering their strengths, and working together.

The message was clear throughout the day - believe in yourself, stay passionate and driven, and above all, be authentically you.
