On Monday the Springfield Park Action Group came together for a neighbourhood walking tour led by Finn the Neighbourhood Facilitator from . The idea was to spend time with the new neighbourhood NHS lead and learn more about local spaces and organisations together 👌

The group explored the new MUGA facilities, beehives, and heard about exciting plans for the extension. They felt lucky to have a guided visit to the North London Muslim Community Centre and learn about the incredible advice, welfare support, and nursery they provide.

The walk included stop offs at Fernbank Children’s Centre (used by many Springfield Park residents) and Lea View Community Hall to reflect on the importance of community spaces, as well as at the pavilion in Springfield Park.

A great day of connection, learning, and community! 🙌

Our Neighbourhood Facilitator Aisha attended ‘s Community Health Champions Physical Activity Forum last week, for an inspiring session bringing together residents and local organisations to connect around health and wellbeing 👌

Aisha said how fantastic it was to see so many taking part in the Reflect & Move Qi-Gong taster session. Residents shared really positive feedback, with many saying they had never experienced Qi-Gong before and found the session calming, grounding and supportive for their mental health.

Opportunities like this highlight the value of partnership working and creating welcoming community spaces where residents can connect, try new activities and support their wellbeing together 💛
