☕ Last week members of our Step-Up programme had a lovely taster volunteer session at Well Grounded.

During the session they learned about barista training and the career opportunities available within the coffee industry.

A special thank you to Emily and Leanne for delivering such an engaging and informative session. It was a great opportunity to build connections and create positive opportunities for Step-Up members.

Volunteer Centre Hackney are looking for an experienced Fundraising & Grants Manager who will be given autonomy to develop a new fundraising strategy to help us increase our reach and support more individuals in the community.

💷 £40,000 - £43,000 per year (pro-rata)
⏱️ Part-time (7.5 hours per day - 3 days per week)
🚵 32 days holiday + bank holidays (pro-rata)

Feeling isolated, or able to spare an hour a week to support someone else?

Volunteer Centre Hackney’s Community Befriending service supports residents in the City of London experiencing loneliness and social isolation by matching them with trained volunteers for regular calls or visits.

If you live or work in the Square Mile and would like to volunteer, or if you or someone you care for might benefit from this support, find out more here: http://vchackney.org/services/community-befrienders

Training and ongoing support are provided for all volunteers.

Funded through the Community Infrastructure Levy Neighbourhood Fund, administered by the City Corporation with contributions from new developments in the Square Mile.
