💛🐾 SUNSHINE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME 🐾💛

During our latest K-9 Angels mass spay and neuter campaign in Romania, 25th–27th September, we came across little Sunshine living on a rubbish dump. 💔

Sadly, sights like this are far from isolated. There are so many stray and unwanted puppies, and it’s heartbreaking to witness. 😔

Sunshine caught our attention because she was barely moving and appeared lame. We knew we couldn’t leave her there.

The heartbreaking reality is that fosters and shelters are already overflowing and there simply aren’t enough homes for all the dogs and puppies in need.

And this is exactly why our main focus as a charity is spaying and neutering preventing unwanted puppies being born into a life where there are simply not enough homes for them.

That night, Sunshine made her lucky escape. 💛

We took her straight to a vet for a health check and she is now safe, healthy and being cared for at Betalands. Thank you

Sunshine is a gorgeous, cuddly little puppy who deserves to grow up knowing love, safety and a warm bed instead of a rubbish dump.

Could YOU be Sunshine’s happy ending and give her a forever home to call her own? 🙏🏼💛

💛🐾 A HUGE THANK YOU TO LULU & CLARE 💛FUNDRAISERS EXTRAORDINAIRE! 🐾💛 ＦＵＮＤＥＲＢＩＲＤＳ
Funderbirds 🫶

We want to give a massive K-9 Angels THANK YOU to the wonderful Lulu & Clare, founders of Funderbirds, who have raised an incredible £2,000 for K-9 Angels through TWO fantastic fundraisers. 🙏🏼

From taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks & Treadmill Challenge to holding a private Silent Disco, they have put so much time, energy and effort into raising vital funds for animal charities supported by their wonderful friends, family and supporters.

And their timing couldn’t have been better. 💛🙏🏼

Our latest mass sterilisation campaign in Romania cost K-9 Angels over £7,000, so their £2,000 contribution is a HUGE amount towards that cost.

Over just ONE weekend our incredible team sterilised:

🐶 84 female dogs
🐶 22 male dogs
🐱 30 female cats
🐱 12 male cats

148 ANIMALS IN TOTAL, including 13 dogs who had to be captured so they could be safely sterilised.

This is how we tackle the suffering at its source. Every sterilisation helps prevent more unwanted puppies and kittens being born into a life of hunger, abandonment and hardship.

Lulu & Clare, THANK YOU. 💛 Your energy, determination and ability to make fundraising FUN is incredible. And a huge thank you to every single person who sponsored, donated or supported your events.

£2,000 makes a very real difference to our work and to the animals we are fighting for.

Please give these two fundraising superstars some love! 👏🏼🐾

With so much love and appreciation,
The K-9 Angels xx 💛🐾

🇷🇴 CRAIOVA, ROMANIA 🇷🇴

50+ animals sterilised today and counting! 🙏🐾

Day 2 of our K-9 Angels mass spay and neuter campaign in Craiova, and our incredible team is back at it.

This is now our 15th year carrying out this vital work, and we’ve seen first-hand why mass spaying and neutering is so important.

Rescue saves the animal in front of us.
Spaying and neutering helps prevent the next generation from needing to be rescued.

Our amazing K-9 Angels team is working alongside , vets, nurses, rescuers and volunteers@all pulling together to help break the endless cycle of unwanted puppies, abandonment and suffering.

50+ animals sterilised today means potentially hundreds more unwanted animals prevented from being born into a life of uncertainty and suffering. 💚

And we’ll be back again, because this work HAS to continue.

K-9 Angels is 100% volunteer-run, and campaigns like this cost approximately £5,000–£7,000.

GRACE IS LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME 💛

Beautiful Grace has come such a long way.

When she arrived from Romania, she was emaciated, terrified and completely shut down. Trusting people was incredibly difficult for her.

With time, patience and kindness, we are now beginning to see a different Grace. She’s taking food from our hands, spending more time around people and becoming a little braver every day.

Grace is around two years old and is currently in foster in West Sussex. She is good with other dogs and fine around cats.

We are looking for an experienced home with someone who understands shut-down or fearful rescue dogs and has the time and patience to allow Grace to progress at her own pace.

Grace will also need lead training, so her adopter must be prepared to gently work with her and help build her confidence outside the home.

A calm, secure and understanding home is essential.

She has already come so far now we need to find that special person who can help her take the next steps. 💛

If you feel you could offer Grace the forever home she deserves, please contact

Please SHARE far and wide. 🙏
