When we are angry or negative, we may see only problems and sadness. The song reminds children that a beautiful heart helps see the world as a beautiful place.

Very impressive flower paintings by our children in Nursery. Beautiful marigolds flower in gardens all over the village as ‘the festival season’ of Dashain and Tihar grows closer. Marigolds signify purity, auspiciousness, and the divine. They represent the fiery, positive energy of the sun and people love to string them into long garlands to adorn temples, doors, family, friends and visitors at special occasions. And the paintings say all that!

Whether a child wants to grow up to be a software developer or any other job in a big city, learning what goes into making an App or a bigger program is important as computers are here to stay! Class 5 has been learning to use Scratch, which is a great way to start learning about programming computers. We are very lucky that The Turing Trust uploads Scratch onto all the laptops which they send to us.

This is why the practical science room is so important. Here we have Pujan Pradhan explaining the process of distillation whilst being able to show how the water solution (salty water) is turned into water vapour/gas in order to separate out and obtain pure water. Class 6 is enjoying the lesson and learns how there are different boiling points during which heating and cooling take place.
