Belgrade Baroque Academy: Ariodante: 24 Sep - 02 Oct, 2026

Award-winning Belgrade Baroque Academy is pleased to announce its 26th international academy, dedicated to a new baroque opera – G.F. Handel's Ariodante, one of the masterpieces of the Baroque repertoire.

We invite applications from advanced singers for all principal roles (Ariodante, Ginevra, Polinesso, Dalinda, Lurcanio, King of Scotland, and Odoardo), as well as from accomplished baroque instrumentalists for this intensive, performance-led academy.

Musical direction and vocal coaching will be led by Predrag Gosta, while instrumental coaching will be provided by Simone Pirri, alongside members of the award-winning period-instrument ensemble New Trinity Baroque. Other coaches include Handel opera expert Sonia Prina, Sandro Rossi, et al.

Tuition Fee: £600–1200, with scholarships available. We invite young, passionate, advanced singers & instrumentalists to apply.

A Call to Music Societies, Festivals, and Concert Promoters

Over the past years, New Trinity Baroque has been receiving wonderful support and recognition, and we would like to thank everyone who has followed and supported our work.

In recent seasons the ensemble has presented a wide range of historically informed performances, including concert programmes, operas, and collaborations with internationally recognised artists, receiving critical praise and growing international attention.

Since Artistic Director Predrag Gosta has been based in London since 2018, the ensemble has gradually expanded its activities in England. We are therefore very pleased to announce a further expansion of our work, with a number of projects and performances planned in the coming months.

We would be very happy to hear from music societies, festivals, and concert promoters across the UK and beyond who may be interested in hosting our performances. Our programmes range from chamber concerts to orchestral projects, and from cantatas to operas and oratorios, presented in historically informed performance.

Accordingly, we are also pleased to announce our newly redesigned website, which contains more information about our work, recordings, and upcoming projects.

As a UK-registered charity, New Trinity Baroque is also interested in connecting with individuals who may wish to support our work, including those interested in joining our Board of Trustees.

For more information please visit newtrinitybaroque.org or contact us at [email protected].

We look forward to many exciting musical collaborations ahead.
