Last night, we held our Casino Night fundraiser at the stunning Battersea Arts Centre, raising over £30,000 for BeyondAutism Early Years.

Families often tell us how they felt lost, overwhelmed or alone, feeling unable to meet their child's needs. But coming to BeyondAutism Early Years changes that.

The money we raised at Casino Night will go directly into our Early Years service, ensuring that we can continue to help families build vital skills, knowledge and support networks, at the time they need it most.

Thank you to all our supporters who attended the event and to our Casino Night partners – ITA Solutions, Koolatron, South London Jazz Orchestra, Axcis Education, Private Cellar, Cohesion Recruitment, Amaranté London and Widgit – for making this possible!

One sentiment we can all agree on that's addressed by the 2026 Schools White Paper is the need for earlier support, stronger expertise in schools, and better outcomes for pupils with additional needs.

That drives what we do as a charity and is why we developed our BeyondAutism Fast Responder service.

Schools need support in this area, so that pupils are not left behind by a broken system. Through Fast Responder, we create experts at hand within schools, so that they are able to:

✔️ reduce reliance on reactive external interventions;
✔️ support pupil wellbeing through proactive, informed practice;
✔️ create a culture of belonging grounded in strong relationships.

BeyondAutism Fast Responder ensures that support is not only available, it’s embedded. And we've seen first-hand the positive impact on learners.

The earlier we act, the better equipped autistic children and their parents will be for life ahead.

At BeyondAutism, we work with families like Jade's and Darcy's to educate and build individualised strategies that support their child's development. 💛

Autism acceptance isn't just for the month of April, it is an essential part of society.

Embracing diversity, acting with compassion and treating people with dignity should be a given, every day of every year. 💛

For Sincoln, art is more than just a hobby, it’s a career path. 💙

The BeyondAutism Post-19 team has supported Sincoln to channel his passion for art and graphic design into a successful business. Not only does he create his own cards and artisan crafts, but he has also developed the financial literacy that enables him to manage his own budget and be his own boss.

We have helped take this learning out of the classroom and into a real-world community setting, where Sincoln sells his bespoke designs at Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth every Tuesday.

"I am always excited to go to the Southside stall!" – Sincoln

In the community, Sincoln isn’t just selling his art, he’s working independently and refining the social and communication skills that will continue to serve him well in life.

Sincoln’s story shows us what's possible when autistic young adults have access to the education and support they need to belong, succeed, and lead lives full of opportunity, choice and independence.
