Living Made Easy Achieves Full Assured Status with OCN London across their Trusted Assessor Training Courses.

Living Made Easy is proud to announce that it has been awarded Assured Status by OCN London across its entire suite of Trusted Assessor training courses. This recognition marks a significant milestone in the organisation’s commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive, and professionally accredited learning experiences.

The achievement follows the appointment of Kerry Tipple as Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) for the training team. Under Kerry’s leadership, Living Made Easy has strengthened its internal quality assurance framework, refined assessment processes, and ensured full alignment with OCN London’s rigorous standards for regulated provision.

“Achieving assured status across all our regulated courses is a testament to the dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit of our training team,” said Kerry. “We’ve worked hard to embed quality at every stage of delivery from course design and learner support to assessment and evaluation.”

Living Made Easy’s training offer includes accredited programmes in areas such as Trusted Assessor practice, telecare assessment, inclusive service delivery, and assistive technology. These courses are designed to empower professionals working across health, social care, and community settings, equipping them with the skills and confidence to deliver person-centred, ethically grounded support.

The assured status not only reinforces the credibility of Living Made Easy’s training provision but also strengthens its position as a trusted partner for commissioners, local authorities, and sector organisations seeking impactful workforce development.

“This recognition reflects our strategic commitment to quality, inclusion, and continuous improvement,” said Neil, who is one of the trainers at Living Made Easy. “We’re proud to offer training that is not only compliant and accredited, but also transformative for learners and the communities they serve.”

Lower your stress levels today by practising the 7:11 breathing technique.

Make sure that your diaphragm (tummy) swells out when you breathe in and collapses again when you breathe out. If your chest and shoulders are going up and down, that is shallow breathing, which you want to avoid when panicky.

If you find it easier, breathe in to a count of 3 and out to 5, or whatever suits you best – as long as the out-breath is longer than the in-breath.

Continue in this way for 5-10 minutes or longer – if you have the time – and enjoy the calming effect it will have on your mind and body.

This technique is the most powerful we know and has been used for thousands of years throughout the world.

Did you know today is National Self Care day? Sometimes when we live with a chronic illness it is easy to confuse self management with self care. Self management is about doing what needs to be done physically and emotionally to get the best out of life despite the condition, self care is about you, not your leg or arm, or skin or weight or the amount of exercise you can do, your deep breathing, compression, massage........ it is about taking or making the time, guilt free, to do something that makes you feel a bit more like you, raises a smile or a happy tear, invokes a beautiful memory, planning something to look forward to, catching up with an old friend, baking a cake, knitting a jumper, or doing nothing at all. Here are some suggestion,
