SELF HELP GROUPS IN ARAT BER - Every week these women come together to save money and help each other start businesses.

Here's how it works: 20 women in a group save an agreed amount of money weekly. They create a loan fund together. When a woman has a business idea, she borrows from the group.

HOPE provides training in entrepreneurial skills, but the women do the real work. They save, they support each other, they start an income generating activity and they build their own futures.

This is how women in Arat Ber are gaining financial independence and real power in their families and communities.

GOOD NEWS FROM ARAT BER - Our completed water system is delivering results that extend far beyond access to clean water. The pictures show children with their families collecting water from a point that's now just 5 minutes from every household, a dramatic improvement from their previous 1-2 km journey.

The time saved has created real change. Women can now care for their children and families while participating in economic activities. Men have more capacity to work on sustaining their households. The entire community is experiencing increased productivity.

The community's new water point features a locally crafted traditional fence that provides security and ensures community ownership and cultural identity.

A PROMISE KEPT! A community changed!

Thanks to our incredible donors, the water system we've been building in Arat Ber is now complete and operational. This isn't just about pipes and taps, it's about dignity, health and hope for an entire community.

This water system is now serving families who once walked hours for water. Every drop flowing through this system represents a child who can now go to school instead of fetching water; a mother with time to build her livelihood; and a community stepping into a healthier future.

These pictures capture more than infrastructure they capture transformation in action. Thank you for making this possible.
