Carlo Rizzi & Rossini in Pesaro 🎶❤️

We’ve been loving the wonderful response to our Artistic Director Carlo Rizzi’s Le siège de Corinthe at the Rossini Opera Festival this week - and we were thrilled to have been there to witness it.

Rossini has long been part of Opera Rara’s story, and it’s a joy to see Carlo continuing to champion this extraordinary repertoire on the international stage.

🎭 TENORS ANNOUNCED!

We’re delighted to announce that acclaimed French tenors François Piolino, tenor and Philippe Talbot will join artists from the National Opera Studio for our upcoming Offenbach Salon Series on 6 October 2026.

Both artists feature on Opera Rara’s forthcoming recording of Offenbach’s rarely performed Barkouf, which receives its UK premiere in concert at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, on 4 October.

Just two days later, they join the next generation of opera talent for an evening celebrating one of opera’s most inventive, witty and wonderfully unpredictable composers. 🇫🇷🎶

The evening begins with a pre-concert talk at 6:15pm with music historian Flora Willson and conductor Paul Daniel, followed by the performance at 7:30pm.
