Designed in the UK this delightful collection includes sustainably forested woodware, ceramic tableware and recycled cotton kitchen textiles, all showcasing the enchanting nature designs.

Although not beloved of gardeners or allotment owners, rabbits are a reminder that we shouldn’t be complacent about a wild species, even one still common and one we might wish to see less often among the vegetable rows.🥕

Our long-running survey, Living With Mammals, has been collecting information about the health of our green spaces and neighbourhood wildlife since 2003. In that time, you've helped us gather a lot of vital data, including for instance the knowledge that we were seeing a decline in hedgehogs in our cities. 🌇

Mammals are typically nocturnal or crepuscular which means they're active around sunrise and sunset, during hours of twilight.

The best time to spot mammals is early morning, when it's quiet without the human bustle that persists in towns and cities through the evening. And as the light improves, there is the opportunity to observe still undisturbed tracks or other signs. 🐾🔍

A quarter of Britain’s native mammals are at risk. But by recording sightings and signs of those you share your towns and cities with, you can help protect their future.

Hedgehog Champions check your inbox for September's e-news🦔 There’s plenty to celebrate this month! 💚 Thanks to the incredible Hedgehog Street community, more people are taking action for hedgehogs by creating hedgehog highways, inspiring community action, and making wild patches in the garden.

We’re also delighted to have been awarded a £143,000 development grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to help us develop Hedgehogs in Focus, a new initiative tracking hedgehog and other wild mammal populations across England. A vital step towards understanding and reversing hedgehog declines.

We need your help to monitor mammals 🦊📱

Green spaces are important: they provide food, clean air and water, and make us healthier and happier. 🌳

Counting our wild neighbours, and knowing how numbers are changing, can tell us about the health of these green spaces and the wildlife that depends on them too.

So by telling us what wild animals you see in your local area you can help us build a wider picture and understand whether wildlife is in trouble.
