Brunswick Vocal Arts supports young classical singers in the UK

Sing with us! We are looking for outstanding solo singers for this project in early September 🤩 Full details are available now on the BVA website. Please help us spread the word, and let your students/colleagues know about this. Applications close in six weeks, on April 12th.

All welcome, no auditions! We at Brunswick Vocal Arts are delighted to welcome our new Honorary Patron, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. One of the world’s best-loved sopranos, now also known for her support of young singers, Dame Kiri writes:

“I’m delighted to become Honorary Patron of Brunswick Vocal Arts. The final period of study and the early stages of a singing career have always been perilous, and never more so than now. Brunswick Vocal Arts, its donors and supporters are creating excellent opportunities for young singers to learn new roles, hone their craft and showcase their voices and artistry; long may its important work continue.”

Solo singers, BVA’s application window is open until April 20th. We’d love to hear from you!

Project participants receive: intensive coaching; a central London performance with experienced, professional orchestral players (and to which opera industry figures are invited - our last concert was attended by senior casting personnel from ROH, Glyndebourne, ENO and Garsington); professionally filmed concert footage of their aria(s) for website/audition use; an expenses payment.
