International Le***an Day, part two 💜

At Mighty Hoopla this summer, Fizz Sinclair grabbed some of our favourite le***an friends and asked them a question: what would you say to someone who doesn’t know any trans+ people?

Their answers say it all. Trans+ people are the people you walk past on the street, your neighbours, your mates. We just want a brilliant, happy life, like everyone else.

Earlier today we shared that le***ans are the most supportive group of the trans+ community. This is what that looks like out loud: le***ans showing up, speaking up, and reminding everyone that our fights have always been shared, and so has our joy.

Good News: Troye (Troye Trotter) just finished his first ultramarathon, raising money for us 💚

This year, Troye took on a series of obstacle course race weekends. It ended with the 2026 Spartan Ultra: 55km of trail and 60 obstacles. He did all of it to raise money for the work we do here at Not A Phase.

As a trans man in endurance sport, he went in knowing it wouldn’t always be easy. What he didn’t expect was how much understanding, acceptance and support he’d find along the way, from his local community and from Spartan Race UK. He also found a sense of belonging in sport that had long felt out of reach.

He raised over £400 for our community. He also showed that trans+ people have a place in endurance sport, even when we aren’t always visible in it.

Thank you, Troye. We’re proud of you, and we can’t wait to see what you take on next.

Today is Bi Visibility Day! According to a report by Stonewall, bi people are less likely to be ‘out’ than gay or le***an people are. 🩷💜💙

Bisexuality is often misunderstood, with bi people having to navigate pressures & expectations due to what other people feel bisexuality looks like.

Bisexual people have always existed, and always will - and bisexuality doesn’t have to adhere to misinformed expectations in order to be valid.
