On Seahaven FM 96.3 and 95.6, Community People with Kathy Harding, Tuesday 27th January, 7pm - 8pm, Kathy's special guests are Rachel Fryer and Adam Bushell from Newhaven Green Centre CIC . The centre aims to make it easy for people to live ‘greener’ lifestyles and save money at the same time. It was founded by Newhaven residents keen to reduce waste by reuse and recycling, and reduce consumption by encouraging sharing. With projects including a library of things, a repair cafe, bring and take tables and information about how to reuse and recycle those items which aren’t accepted in the Council’s kerbside recycling collection.
