Tomorrow is and
Whilst our work is predominantly with rough sleepers, we also know that homelessness is a bigger issue. So we partner with 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day to create beautiful blankets, for people living in temporary accommodation.
These stunning squares were sent in by Heather Martin, who has faithfully supported our work for many years. The blanket was made by Kris. Thank you both.
Now to get sewing the squares together, which is therapeutic and good for mental wellbeing.
If you can create squares, or make a blanket, do please send them to us.

Today we have been at The Post Building, in central London. We have an exhibition of art there and also had a card stall.
This is part of our way to mark & . Painting gives respite & aids recovery.

We are marking and both of which are on Saturday 10th October. Through the week we will publish snippets from our work.

When ‘D’ came to Barons Court Project, he’d been sleeping rough for many years. He had been an accountant, but poor mental health led to his homelessness.

By listening to ‘D’ we heard his of his hopes and dreams. We worked with him on his C.V. Guiding him to job fairs and with interview preparation.During his search, ‘D’ discovered a passion for helping others. He is now working in the care sector and using his lived experience to help others.

Huge thanks to the Chelsea Foundation for giving our guests tickets to see the Women’s team, yesterday.
They all had a great time and enjoyed doing something normal.

We would like to thank Big Yellow Storage, Battersea who are storing many of our possessions whilst the building project takes place. Today we moved the photocopier in, the last of the big items.
The team Raheem, Roland and Declan are the friendliest people, so I wholeheartedly recommend Big Yellow Storage, Battersea, if you need to store things.
As a charity they have given us the storage for free, saving us over £8,500. This is about equal to 65% of our food bill for the year, so a huge saving.
We are deeply grateful to Big Yellow Storage.
