✨For the first time ever, we at The Bhavan took part in Open House Festival!

We opened the doors to visitors and shared the story and history of The Bhavan in West Kensington.

From Victorian Church to Indian Cultural Centre: The Story of The Bhavan invited visitors to discover the fascinating history of our building, learn more about The Bhavan’s cultural journey, and experience Indian classical rhythm first-hand.

Dr M. N. Nandakumara MBE and Mrs Parvati Nair shared personal anecdotes and stories from The Bhavan’s journey, followed by a tabla demonstration by Pandit Rajkumar Misra.

Visitors also had the opportunity to explore Crafts of Garba, a one-of-a-kind exhibition curated by Subrang Arts.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and Open City for organising.✨
