Our aim is to engage at least 10000 girls a year with hands-on meaningful workshop opportunities, educational content, inspiring talks and outreach

OUR STORY AND WHO WE ARE
Avye is now a 18-year-old student and passionate about Tech. In 2018, already a coder, maker and workshop leader she came up with the idea of organising coding events for girls, after repeatedly observing that most attendees at her workshops were boys. She was determined to encourage more girls to give STEM a go. As a result, she decided to set up ‘Girls Into Coding’, a series of events targeting girls. Girls into Coding provides extracurricular opportunities for girls between the ages of 10 and 14. We’ve created workshops events to immerse young people in a range of tech & engineering activities. Girls into Coding is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and is regulated by the CIC regulator since February 2020.
