Beechley Stables RDA Beechley Stables Riding for the Disabled Group is based in Allerton, Liverpool. We provide fun and therapy for disabled children and adults.

Beechley Stables RDA is part of the National Riding for the Disabled Association. We are based in Liverpool (North West England) and provide riding lessons for disabled adults and children from the ages of 6+. Medical professionals recognise that there are significant therapeutic benefits for the rider. The warmth and three dimensional movement of the horse is transmitted through the riders body, gradually making it more relaxed and supple, reducing spasms and improving balance, posture and co-ordination. For children and adults with disabilities, the companionship of animals is particularly invaluable, as many have trouble making connections to people. Are you looking for a Volunteering Opportunity? If you are available on a Tuesday, you could be part of a team of volunteers who assist in Hippotherapy sessions led by a physiotherapist. Pony leaders and sidewalkers needed. Its such a rewarding activity and you can get your steps in. Sessions run from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Assist in one or more sessions . Contact [email protected] for a Volunteer form. More volunteers needed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Email for further information. 🐴🐴🐴

A very successful day at Beechley. Congratulations to Mya for passing her RDA Group Coach Assessment. She has been a regular Volunteer, becoming an Activity Leader and then moving on to the Coaching Pathway. Her dedication and motivation to reach her goals are to be applauded. We haven't seen that back wall for ages 😀. Our farmer has been to take the muck heap which means the well rotted stuff is up for grabs.
Please collect between 10am and 4pm any day of the week. Bring your own bags, we can provide shovels if needed.
Manure is free to all but donations always welcome. 🙂💩

It's that time of year when we say a fond farewell to some of our volunteers as they move on to pastures new! This week we're saying goodbye to Abby, Chloe and Niamh. Abby is off to Racing college, Chloe to her 2nd Yr of veterinary studies and Niamh to her 1st Yr of veterinary. Thank you all so much for the hard work and dedication you've given to us here at Beechley. We wish you all the best of luck and hope to see you all again soon ❤ 🐎
