Spirit of Shankly volunteers spent a great few hours in the The John Brodie Liverpool following the Shankly Cup on Saturday June 6, along with one of the youth teams and coaches from Dublin, who’d taken part. We were warmly welcomed, the food they laid on – curry and rice, sandwiches, pies and sausage rolls – went down a treat and there was a great selection of drinks. Lots of TVs showing sport and darts and pool. Their hospitality was fantastic – would highly recommend.
