DOVEFEST 26 π One week on, and the big count is doneβ¦ ππ
What an amazing day! Blessed with the sun for the fourth year running, and the most FANTASTIC crowd ππ Thank you all so much for coming, it really was INCREDIBLE β¨
Not only was it loads of fun for our school and wider community (all 3000+ of you!), but we also raised an unbelievableβ¦
π₯π₯ Β£17.3K!!! π₯π₯ waahhhhhh!!
This money will go towards funding phase 2 of our playground redevelopment, plus other school play projects!! π
HUGE thanks to our incredible parent/staff/student volunteers on the day, in the build up to the event, and who approached us last minute - to run stage, games, bbq, bar, raffle, inflatables, sweets, baby bell tent, and even dance round in ridiculous costumes ππ Too many names to mention, and every one of you an essential cog in this immense community project!!
Special shout out to our amazing setup/packdown troopers - and of course, our kickass Dovedale PTA committee and zone leaders who gave weeks and months to make sure DOVEFEST happened πͺ We cannot do any of this without you and appreciate every single one of you! π₯°
