WELCOME to MERSEYCATS Jam Night from “The Oldy Club” THURSDAY 18th June 2026. This was another fantastic night of rockin’ lively music and GOOD friendly company, Happy Hour bar prices all night and FREE CHIP BUTIES all FOR ONLY £1 members and £2 visitors on the door which includes a door raffle for a Lotto ticket for Saturday's draw. Plus a general Raffle with tickets just £1 per strip, with a FREE musician’s raffle. With ALL proceeds raised on night being £207:57p, ALL GOING TO OUR LOCAL SICK AND DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN. So with some really terrific acts on the bill, and with such a fantastic variety and genres of music coming from:- “SOME OTHER GUY”. “IMPULSE”. “THE KIRKBY SKIFFLERS”. “THE LACKIES”, And “MERSEYCATS JAM BAND” Thanks to all our Musicians (who give their time and expertise for FREE to MERSEYCATS along with all our supporters). Merseycats are proud to announce our first outdoor event of 2026 is at Formby Live in the grounds of Formby Pool Trust as usual, on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June from 12 noon to 6pm both days, with lots of great live music from some of our fantastic bands that perform for Merseycats week in / week out during the year.
This is a free to enter event put on by Formby Pool Trust in their gardens as part of the Formby Live long weekend festival.
Come along and support your bands and Merseycats by having a great weekend. There are lots of things going on all weekend and we have Chris Maloney doing face painting all day on both days where all her profits kindly get donated to Merseycats as well.
The sun is booked, all we need now is you to be there too.🎸🥁🎸🎸🎹🎤🥳😎🤘☀️🎸🥁🎸🎸

Merseycats next event is a private ticketed event at Malvern Primary School in Broadgreen on Saturday 4th July. We have been booked to appear at the school's Malfest again this year after their head, Tony James, liked what Merseycats did in 2025 for them..
This is a major annual festival that has been going for about 6 years or so and we are very proud to be invited to appear yet again and receive a large donation to our funds to help sick and disadvantage children on Merseyside.
Once again our supporting bands will be helping us out by performing for Merseycats for free to raise as much money for us as possible.
The school are selling tickets for the event which are available on their website and at the school.

We had a great Merseycats Jam Night at The Oldy Club in Aintree on THURSDAY 11th June 2026.
This was another fantastic night of rockin’ lively music in a warm friendly club with great friendly company,
On the night we have FREE CHIP BUTTIES and Happy Hour bar prices all night, all for ONLY £1 for all members and £2 for all visitors, in the honesty bucket on the door please, which includes a door raffle for a Lotto ticket for Saturday's draw. Plus a general Raffle with tickets just £1 per strip and with a FREE musician’s raffle to show our appreciation for the musicians.
ALL proceeds raised on the night, being £500.00 this week, thank you. Also we had a donation from Ian and Martha Schroeder given in memory of Allan Schroeder (an original Merseybeat drummer)
ALL GOING TO OUR LOCAL SICK AND DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND LOCAL CHILDREN'S CHARITIES.
With five really terrific acts on the bill, and with such a fantastic variety and genres of music coming this week from:- “JUST CHRIS", "THE LACKIES”, and “ABBEY UKES”, and finishing off the night with a "MERSEYCATS JAM BAND” featuring Gerry, Ged and Nick on vocals this week.
Thanks to all our Musicians, who all give their time and expertise for FREE to MERSEYCATS, along with all our supporters and all the crew who together make it such a fantastic night of music, dancing and friendliness.
