School is back in full swing, and so is our after-school Tutti Frutti Club!

We’re bringing a diverse mix of creative activities to children in Leeds, from dance and art to spoken word, craft and drama , giving young people the chance to try something new, get creative and have fun.

💬 “I like dancing classes and yoga.” Said one young person.

We love hearing how much our young people are enjoying the club. A big thank you to Victoria Wood Foundation, The Arts Society, Didymus Charity and Robert Gavron for supporting this fantastic project. 💚

🎶 A productive week of music rehearsals for our Boy Who Cried Wolf team!

You might recognise Jonny, Holly and Matthew from some of our previous shows and this week they’ve been bringing the music to life alongside our brilliant composer - Dominic. 🎵

We’re especially excited because The Boy Who Cried Wolf is heading to the USA from January! 🇺🇸 We can’t wait to share the show with young audiences across the pond. 🐺✨

🎭👉 This week, the actors and creative team behind The Boy Who Cried Wolf are together in Leeds, kicking off music rehearsals ahead of the show’s USA tour from January to May 2027.

This beautiful, heart-warming wintery tale brings us a bother of a boy, a mithered mother and a grand old brass band of a grandad.

All set in the village of Knitters, where fingers are flicking, needles are clicking, and every new jumper tells a tale!

🎭 👉 As we start rehearsals this week, we are super excited to announce the tour schedule for our next show, Red Robin’s Winter Song!

🗓️ From October to December, Red Robin will be flying into theatres, arts centres and schools across the UK, before landing at Leeds Playhouse for a Christmas run!

We are looking for an inspiring, collaborative and experienced Executive Director to join our team and help shape the next chapter of our ambitious children’s theatre company.

Founded in Leeds in 1991, we create imaginative, joyful and meaningful theatre for children and families, reaching audiences across the UK and internationally.

Working closely with our Artistic Director and Board of Trustees, we’re looking for someone with senior leadership experience who can bring strategic thinking and practical delivery, build strong relationships, spot opportunities and bring people together.

You’ll share our values and be committed to creating positive experiences for children and families, supporting a happy and inclusive workplace, and helping the organisation grow sustainably.

📍 Leeds | Hybrid working
🕐 30 hours per week / 4 days
💷 £48,000–£52,000 pro rata + 6% pension
📅 Permanent contract
🏁 Ideally starting December 2026
