One highlight is how our Money Matters team has helped customers increase their income by an impressive £795k over the past year.🙌

A big part of this has been helping customers move from legacy benefits to Universal Credit. This includes couple Roxy and her husband, who reached out to us for support with their benefits claim. As well as helping them successfully access their new entitlement, we assisted with a referral to Occupational Therapy, which led to the installation of a stairlift and a wet room in their home.

Roxy says, "Knowing I’m getting a stairlift to keep me safe is wonderful. I’ll get that self-trust and confidence back; it’ll have such a positive impact on my wellbeing.”

We have a new Colleague Circle! 😍

Thank you to everyone who's shared feedback about the work we've been doing to meet the new Competence and Conduct Standard, which went live yesterday.

At Leeds Federated, we have a Colleague Circle to highlight and help track the behaviours we want colleagues to meet. We've used feedback from colleagues and customers as part of the consultation around the Competence and Conduct Standard to refresh our Colleague Circle and make sure it includes the right behaviours.👍

Our new Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) page is live! 👉 https://loom.ly/CdrZ_SQ

From 1 October, housing associations like us will be required to publish more information under new government legislation called the Social Tenants Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs). The new requirements are designed to improve transparency and make it easier for customers to access information about their housing provider.👍

Most of the information we’re required to publish under STAIRs is already available on our website, but we've set up a new page to help you find the information you need under the STAIRs classifications.

🗓️Tomorrow, 30 September, we'll be operating an emergency-only repairs service between 9 am and 5 pm. This means if you call us on 0113 386 1000, you'll automatically be redirected to our out-of-hours service.

Emergency repairs include things like severe water leaks💦 and loss of all power🔦.

When dealing with emergency repairs, our out-of-hours service will make things safe for you within 4 hours and repair within 24 hours⌛.

💥If you suspect a gas leak, call the National Gas Emergency Helpline on 0800 111 999 immediately.

👍You can continue to report non-emergency repairs to us by email at [email protected], and we'll pick these up on 1 October.

🙌Interested in having your say, sharing your views, and helping to shape our services? If this sounds like something for you, we're hosting a Get Involved workshop on Monday 12 October!

By getting involved, you can make a real difference in your neighbourhood, have a say in decisions that affect your home, meet other customers and develop valuable skills and experience.

In the workshop, we'll explore the different ways you can make your voice heard, from completing quick surveys on our Flash Feedback Your Voice page to joining the Customer Voices Panel, taking part in policy groups, or even becoming a Board member.

Our Chief Executive, Matthew Walker, will also be there to talk about why customer involvement matters and the positive impact it can have on our services and communities.

You might remember our Time to Talk online sessions, where colleagues discussed a different housing topic each month. You told us you wanted more flexibility to watch our videos at a time that works for you, so we listened! A vlog (short for video blog) is a form of content where information is shared through video rather than text.

These quick and accessible videos can be watched whenever it suits you. Each vlog will put a different housing-related topic in the spotlight and will be presented by our colleagues! 🙌
