Could you help shape important research into stress and gambling harms in later life?

Leeds Older People's Forum and the University of Leeds are looking for 10–12 people aged 55+ from Leeds or Bradford with lived experience of gambling harm to help guide a new research project.

This could be your own experience, or that of someone close to you, such as a partner, family member, friend, or person you've cared for.

Participants will help shape the research questions, methods, and findings, ensuring lived experience is at the heart of the project. Participants will receive an £80 voucher for each of the three meetings in the year.

Tomorrow, Matt and a fantastic group of friends will be taking on the Leeds 10K to raise money for Out Together.

As a dedicated member of our team and a proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Matt works tirelessly behind the scenes to support our members, secure vital funding, build relationships with organisations and help more people access the support we provide.

We're incredibly grateful for everything he does, and this challenge is just another example of his commitment to making a difference.

Looking for something to do this Thursday?

We're pleased to share an event from Men's Health Unlocked that may be of interest to our community, taking place at Kirkgate Market from 12pm–2pm.

The afternoon will feature live poetry performances, creative activities, information stalls, and opportunities to connect with local organisations and services. Teams from Space2, Balbir Singh Dance Company, Being You Leeds, and others will also be there.

It's a great opportunity to discover what's happening in your local community, get involved in creative activities, and meet new people in a welcoming environment.

The Out Together team had a fantastic time attending Skipton Building Society's LGBTQ+ Staff Network Pride Month event Yesterday. 🌈

It was wonderful to meet so many people, share more about Out Together's work, and connect with other organisations supporting LGBTQ+ communities across Yorkshire.

A big thank you to the LGBTQ+ Staff Network at Skipton Building Society for inviting us along and for creating such a welcoming and inclusive event. We're always grateful for opportunities to celebrate Pride, build new connections, and raise awareness of the support available within our communities.

It was great to join other services including Mesmac and MindOut to showcase what is available to the community.

The countdown is officially on… and we’re excited to announce that incredible dance music icon Angie Brown will be performing live at the All Out Together Ball next Saturday! ✨
