Today our Active Lifestyles group visited Roundhay Park.

We walked around the lake and learned how to stay safe near water.

The weather was warm, dry, and sunny. Everyone had a lovely time together and enjoyed being outdoors.

Last week our Active Lifestyles group met at Golden Acre Park.

Together we walked for 3km.

Everyone did really well, supporting one another and enjoying the challenge.

It was a beautiful, dry day with plenty of sunshine. As we walked, everyone chatted together, got to know one another, and some new friendships were formed.

The park was full of beautiful summer flowers, including pink phlox, blue hydrangeas and bright yellow rudbeckia, making our walk even more enjoyable.

We stopped for a well-earned rest on the benches, where Oliver treated us to an entertaining dance performance that had everyone smiling and laughing!

It was another fantastic afternoon of being active, enjoying nature and spending time together.

Next week we'll be meeting at 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸.

Pudsey meets on Thursday evenings (7-9pm) and Beeston club is on Fridays (6.30 -8.30pm).
