Farnley Fest 2026 is officially done โ€” and what an absolutely brilliant day it was!

We were blessed with fantastic weather, an amazing turnout and, most importantly, an incredible community of people who came along and made the day what it was. โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽ‰

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, joined in, had a laugh, sang their hearts out, played the games, visited the stalls and supported Farnley Community Centre.

But today wouldn't have happened without some very special people...

Weโ€™ve got the air conditioning running and the fans at full tilt so anyone who needs a space to cool down is more than welcome to come along. ๐Ÿ’จ
We will also have water and cordial on hand at no cost to help through this warm period. ๐Ÿงƒ๐Ÿฅค๐Ÿฅต

Farnley Fest is almost here! ๐ŸŽช๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ”

Weโ€™ve been working hard behind the scenes to put together a brilliant day for the community โ€” but we **canโ€™t do it without a few extra pairs of hands!**

Weโ€™re looking for volunteers to help us on **Saturday** with things like:

๐Ÿ”น Setting up before the event
๐Ÿ”น Helping run the games and activities
๐Ÿ”น Keeping an eye on things during the day
๐Ÿ”น Helping with stalls and refreshments
๐Ÿ”น Welcoming people and answering questions
๐Ÿ”น Helping with the tidy-up afterwards

**You don't need to be part of the committee or have any experience.** If you're part of the Farnley community and fancy getting involved, we'd absolutely love to have you.

Even if you can only spare **an hour or two**, that could make a massive difference. โค๏ธ

And let's be honestโ€ฆ volunteering at Farnley Fest is much more fun than sitting at home watching everyone else's Facebook posts! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Weโ€™re aiming to make this a proper community day โ€” something that **Farnley can be proud of** โ€” and we'd love you to be part of it.

๐Ÿš€ **Something exciting is coming to Farnley Community Centre...**

We're always looking for new ways to bring people together, and we're delighted to be working on three brand-new community groups that we hope will become a big part of life here in Farnley.

๐Ÿงฑ **Farnley Brick Builders**
A creative building club where imagination has no limits! Weekly themed challenges, free building, team projects and loads of fun using thousands of building bricks. A fantastic opportunity for children to create, learn and make new friends.

๐Ÿ”จ **The Shed โ€“ For Men Aged 18+**
A relaxed, friendly social group where men can get together, enjoy a brew, have a chat, share skills, work on practical projects or simply spend time in good company.

Whether you're retired, working, living alone or just looking to meet new people, **The Shed** is about tackling loneliness, building friendships and creating a space where men feel welcome and supportedโ€”no experience or special skills required.

๐ŸŒฑ **Farnley Little Explorers**
A brand-new group for our youngest adventurers and their parents or carers. Expect stories, crafts, messy play, sensory activities, outdoor exploration and plenty of opportunities to learn, play and make new friends.

These are just the start of our plans to make Farnley Community Centre a place where **there really is something for everyone.**

We've been working behind the scenes to bring new life to Farnley Community Centre, and we're excited to finally share the first step of that journey with you.

We're kicking things off with Farnley Fest, a free community celebration for everyone.

Each Monday, 5:30 - 7:30 pm, at Farnley Community Centre, there is a closed group youth session!

The sessions are free to attend and require a quick registration form to be completed upon the referral being received.
